Paula Rock, PT

Paula Rock graduated from Quinnipiac College Hamden, CT in 1994 with a BS in Physical Therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings over the years before joining the Hampstead Physical Therapy team in 2012. Paula enjoys working with patients of all ages and orthopedic diagnosis. Paula believes in a comprehensive approach to therapy treating the whole body with flexibility, strengthening and corrective exercises in addition to manual treatment and biofeedback to obtain optimal results. She is a certified Functional Movement Specialist and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Practitioner through Rock Tape. Also certified in kinesio taping, medical and orthopedic massage and has attended numerous continuing education courses in other manual treatment including spinal and joint mobilizations. She also performs running gait analysis and provides treatment interventions for anyone training for their first 5K or 100 miler. She lives in Hampstead with her husband and daughter. Paula enjoys running, triathlon and spending time at the beach with her family.

Mike White, PT, DPT

Mike grew up in Bogue, NC before going to ECU for his undergraduate degree. From there he went on to teach at the middle and high school level while coaching wrestling, baseball, and football. After that he went back to ECU to get his doctorate in physical therapy and has been practicing since 2010. He enjoys working with patients of all diagnoses and helping them return to the things that they love doing. He does however have a special interest working with athletes to help them succeed in sport. Mike is a certified Graston technician, proficient in using biofeedback for muscle activation, and has a certificate in Vestibular therapy. When not at work Mike is an avid runner, paddle board racer, practicing surfer, and loves spending time with his wife and daughter anywhere near water.

Heather Koopman, PT, DPT, CMTPT

Heather obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at East Carolina University in 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Campbell University in 2013. Heather has had experience working with all populations – children to adults. She has a strong interest in the orthopedic setting and enjoys treating patients of all diagnoses. In her free time, Heather enjoys exercising, cooking, baking, crafting, and spending time at the beach. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dog and husband. Heather is a big fan of Campbell University athletics and was a cheerleader during her undergrad days. Go Camels!

Kallie Brabender, Front Desk Extraordinaire

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Kallie moved to North Carolina with her husband Brandon, in 2013. As the first face you see in the office, you’ll always be welcomed with a genuine smile. She is currently attending UNCW perusing her bachelor’s in biology. In their free time, Kallie and her husband enjoy spending time with their two Dobermans, Penny and Panzer. They also enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring throughout North Carolina.
